I finished the Shadow Temple a while ago, but I forgot to post this. All I have to say is WHY THE HECK DID NINTENDO REMOVE THE BLOOD RED SPOTS NOW DEAD HANDS LOOK LESS DISTUBING UGHHH!!!

The original got away with much more blood than later versions. In the original, for example, Gannondorf spews blood at one point. Later versions he hacks up green slime.

Inside the Well, from Zelda Ocarina of Time 3D

12 year old me was all like, “OH, I’ll just go down this here well and get the treasure, in and out!” I get to that picture that says, “Danger Below” Thinking nothing I walk forward and fall down a trap door, where a Redead starts feating on my brains and I turn of the N64 and rock myself in a corner.

The 3DS ver. really made some nice textures in this joint! I find it quite spooky! Those fucking Dead hands…

This and the Shadow Temple are my favorite dungeons ever.

I loved the atmosphere, the mysteriousness, and the illusions around every corner. I used the extra bottles glitch and replaced my lens of truth with a bottle, so I actually beat the Shadow Temple without it.

It is a very difficult challenge, but it is possible. If anyone else has done it, tell me how it went, because I did this back before you could look up videos on the Internet and it was extremely challenging. I had to develop methods of testing the presented reality, like shooting arrows into the ground to see if it was real.
