this fascinates me, but i’m way too tired to contemplate it
maybe it’s just that intps have the greatest interest in mbti, thus are the ones who respond to the thread the most often
oops didn’t i just say i was too tired to contemplate it
afk sleep
EDIT: …i mean they sure don’t have statistics on their side, as they’re quite rare. perhaps-
ok no seriously time for sleep
I’ve analyzed this before, and think it is worth revisiting. /b/ is a cognitive function ecosystem with checks and balances. It is a fascinating thing to examine.
Ti dominants (and with it, inferior Fe) dominate the chans. Ne is entirely responsible for the meme-generating quality of /b/ and it is also where the tertiary Si “rules of the Internet” come from. (They are pirate law: “generalized guidelines” that can be bent or broken at will, but are still on display as law.) ESTPs and ISTPs are the bulk of the /b/ population, it seems, even if they’re not running it, it wouldn’t be running without them. (They’re who we have to thank for /b/’s numbers and underground power.)
ENTJs and INTJs will come and go, leaving a mark or not, but are consistently the ones who step in whenever we see /b/ get organized in the form of Anonymous. (With ESTPs mainly running the flesh and bone tertiary Fe campaigns.) The rhetoric used by Anonymous is of course an amalgamation of whichever type speaks through it, but is most often seen with a Te voice to match Te attire. Only through Ni has Anon actually managed to survive.
(That, and let’s face it, INTPs will be running /b/ because they’re the one’s the SPs are coming to /b/ FOR, and the one’s keeping /b/ alive long enough to catch the attention and respect of NJs.)
